We are issuing a call for vendors for the World Market at our upcoming 🍁Canada Day🍁 celebration!
WHAT: A BOOTH AT THIS YEAR’S CELEBRATE PA! JULY 1st FESTIVITIES
WHERE: HARBOUR QUAY, PORT ALBERNI
WHEN: JULY 1st, 10 AM TO 2 PM (MORE DETAILED INFO WILL BE ISSUED CLOSER TO THE EVENT)
HOW MUCH: NO BOOTH FEE FOR THIS YEAR!
However, you MUST provide the following for your booth:
- 10 x 10 shade tent
- Booth table, chairs, any & all fixtures
- Booth signage
- Your own food & beverage
- A kids’ activity or give-away
- Wear red & white, or Canadiana
PLEASE NOTE: WIFI IS NOT AVAILABLE. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY
SHARED BOOTHS: Fill out 1 form indicating the parties wishing to share the booth (individual signage for each vendor is required). Each vendor is required to submit the information requested on the form. No more than 2-3 in a booth.
ADJACENT BOOTHS: Vendors wishing to be adjacent need to indicate on the form the party they wish to be next to and we will do our best to try and accommodate this request. However, it is not guaranteed that they will be next to the other booth as it depends on market composition and layout.
PARKING: You will be able to drive to the general proximity of your booth to unload (pick up), however, you can NOT park longer than 30 minutes. You will have to park their vehicle in one of the general parking lots off Harbour Road.
FOR VENDORS WISHING TO SELL OR DISTRIBUTE FOOD: You are required to have a VIHA temporary food service permit as well as liability insurance. BC regulations may be found here: planning-guide-temporary-events-and-food-markets.pdf
