The Aquatic Centre and Fitness Studio will be closed for annual maintenance shutdown from 8:30 pm on Friday, August 23 to 6:00 am on Tuesday, October 1. The pool will be drained and our busy maintenance folks will be working hard to clean, grout, scrub and paint over the next few weeks.
Fun fact! Did you know our main pool (deep and shallow tanks) holds almost a million liters of water? It holds 991,777 liters of water, or 262,000 gallons, and all that water is run through the filter system every 4 to 5 hours.
As this is will be a worksite, there will be no public permitted in the Aquatic Centre but you can check out the progress from the 10th Avenue doors.
